Default Factions character in Nightfall

So I started an Assassin the other day and I just got him to the Nightfall campaign earlier on today. I almost immediately went to the crafter and I noticed that nothing could be made for me. So, I was wondering if since I have this Factions character in the Nightfall campaign, am I going to have to discover all the towns from the Factions campaign and get my gear there, or is there some kind of glitch going on? Thanks.

Well, technically... no, but unless you are insanely great that can get to vabbi with low armor, i would just say... buy the assasin armor in kaineng.
Its no glitch, Istan and Kourna simply do not have assasin armor, sorry for the bad news.
kaineng has max armor, and because you came from kaineng, u could buy the max armor there!

Nightfall doesn't have assassin armor except for Vabbian and Ancient, which are way later in the game. The reason for this is that assassin is a Factions-based character and therefore can get his armor from there. All the core professions can get armor from any game, but special professions have to mostly stick with their own campaign.

Just get max armor from Kaineng until you can get to the kind of armor you really want.
